Even if you are feeling that you already know what type of photography you like to do, it’s usually a good idea to try your talent at different sides of photography. Pictorial, this is a common term but it is applicable to any cameraman who’s goal is just to make stunning footage. This breaks down into smaller subsets but the hottest form is landscape and nature photography. This is what I do and it’s tantalizing to go on but I will just say this form of photography, to me, is a genuine art.
At least that’s goal to make art in photographic form. It’s the goal of the shutter-bug to use their capabilities to capture an image in it’s moment of beauty and simplicity. Portrait, this is often folk and even animals.
It also includes marriage photography also. This is a side of photography that may be much tougher than it appears.
Not only have you got to grasp your basic photograph composition but you want to grasp what makes each person look their best. You have to know the easy way to bring out their personality and personality in the shot. If you adore working with folks this could be your field. Photojournalism, now this is not just press photography, though that’s one facet of it. It’s also documentary photography also the second does not often need an event to happen in front of you.
Either way the purpose is to inform a tale. Very good photojournalism should not need the text below it to tell you what is happening. Composition still plays a role, you can not tell a tale if the tale cannot be seen. And while these footage can be pretty in their technical aspects they are not always attractive pictures. Abstract, doubtless not as common of a type of photography but I am seeing it more and more. This is generally indicated by intense close ups of detail of something, so much so you can’t identify the first subject. But in this situation that is not important since the abstract detail or pattern is the topic of the photograph.
Basic composition still plays a role, perhaps a larger part in this form of photography. This week’s assignment : 4 rolls of film again. Roll one, pictorial, get outside and try your absolute best using all of your capabilities to capture moments of beauty and simplicity. Roll 2, portrait, get someone to volunteer for you. Remember composition but truly target finding the shots which make that person look their best. Roll 3, photojournalism, inside or outside anywhere you see stories. This is as straightforward as a kid playing with their toys. Find the acceptable moment to take a shot that tells the tale. Get in close, ensure that you can’t identify the topic but find beauty in the color or details of the item.
